Duplicate calculation of tracked keywords

Since we have several products that rank on the same keywords, it is of course difficult to see that we have to pay for each keyword individually. As we know, in the background, the Amazon page for the search term is fetched once, and all products visible on the first or second page are identified and stored.
This means that if two products should be tracked with the same keyword, there is no double effort involved. Nevertheless, it is tough to also pay double for this price now.
I would find it fair if tracking a keyword were paid for independently of the number of products being tracked since, as discussed, no additional effort arises.

- We track between 10 and 50 products for certain keywords that rank for the same keyword. Some of these are very generic keywords, such as gift-related terms, for which almost all of our products rank.
- Since I have to pay one credit per keyword for each product, the pricing model and resulting costs become significant. For ten keywords for which I want to obtain search results and the position of my product, I have to pay fifty credits instead of ten if I want to see five products from that search result.
- As keyword rank tracking is done by searching for the keyword on Amazon, and all search results from the first and second pages can be retrieved in a single run, I believe it doesn’t matter how many products need to be checked for this one SERP page. You already have all the data for that keyword.
Instead of charging per keyword per product per user, the fee should be applied per keyword per user only, since the one-time effort of retrieving and extracting the search results for a keyword is the same—regardless of whether a user wants to know if one, two, or three products appear in the results.

Hello benchmarkets GmbH! I have a few more questions for you:
- How many products do you typically track with the same keyword?
- What impact does the current pricing model have on your keyword tracking strategy?
- Would a tiered pricing model based on the number of keywords tracked be more appealing to you?
